The next (bboy/bgirl) Breaker of the Month is here, the one and only ‘Bgirl Gunn’. This bgirl is an amazing dancer and she is one of the strongest characters on the Bradford breakin (breakdance) scene. Gunn has the mindset of a true bgirl and has no problem when it comes to pushing herself, which she often does. Her talent lies in her Toprock, she has natural rhythm and powerful energy which is great in cyphers and battles.
Through her fearlessness in battles and confidence to speak her mind, she established herself as a leader among her peers in the early stages of Industrial Techniques Crew. Although she is young, Gunn has shown great leadership capabilities which will be nurtured through her instructor Tranquil and the members of the Clean North Crew.
Recently Industrial Techniques took the win in a battle against Solid Rock Crew at the Bradford Brawl event. This was due to Gunn’s quick thinking and battle strategy. If it wasn’t for her they may have lost the battle against Solid Rock Crew. This was another one of the main reasons Gunn was awarded the Breaker of the Month.
Bradford’s breakin scene is growing rapidly and the level keeps on climbing, every month it becomes harder to earn this prestigious award. Breaker of the Month was designed in order to recognise the bboys and bgirls who are pushing themselves, have discipline and want to be better dancers. This award is achievable regardless of level or experience, all that is needed is the right attitude and to train hard. Bgirl Gunn is the 7th Breaker of the Month and everyone in her crew and the Tranquil Productions family are proud of her, we hope she continues on this path, works hard and stays strong well into the future.
