Breaker of the Month | Bgirl Storm – Tranquil Productions

It’s nearly time for the Breaker of the Year battles at this year’s Bradford Brawl on Saturday 4th July. However, it is time to announce our sixth Bboy/Bgirl to receive the Tranquil Productions, Breaker of the Month. The award goes to non other than… Bgirl Storm. Bgirl Storm is the newest breaker to join Concrete Roses Crew and is fast becoming a true member of the community.

Bgirl Storm is dedicated, passionate and willing to put in the work. Her style is described as being strong and all-rounded. Storm has been dancing for just over 5 months and is already showing loads of character and style in her breakin. Her strengths are her drive to improve and her perseverance if things get hard. Since Storm started, she has pushed to get the hardest moves, made over 4 sets and has had a great impact on the Bradford breakin scene.

One of the many reasons Bgirl Storm was chosen for BOTM, is that she is so determined and dedicated to reach the highest level. Even though she is one of the newest members of her crew, you would not know as she represents herself to the fullest and is at a high level already. Storm is currently attending 3 different classes throughout the week which include: Survival Breaks on Mondays 7-8pm, Windhill Clan on Fridays 6-7pm and Concrete Roses on Saturdays 12-1pm. On top of those sessions she is attending open training on Mondays & Wednesdays alongside on her own at home. Her dedication to each of these sessions is one of the main reasons she has progressed so quickly.

Another reason she was chosen is because of her perseverance. Bgirl Storm always goes above and beyond when training, she always gives 110% in all of her classes. In all classes and training sessions, Storm is always willing to battle or cypher and never gives up even when she is tired. Recently Storm has been attempting some new power moves, which can be a tough process. Despite this, she keeps pushing through, asks for help if she needs it and is always using her time wisely. She hasn’t always been the Bgirl you see today. During her first sessions she was quiet and didn’t want to go into the cypher on her own but she has overcome this and had a growth in confidence, consistently entering the cypher to show everyone her moves.

I’m so happy to be chosen as Breaker of the Month. Watching all the older breakers inspire me, it makes me want to try harder moves. I’m ready to battle for the Breaker of the Year Title at Bradford Brawl 2026!

Bgirl Storm, Concrete Roses Crew

At her first ever event, The Easter Jam 2026, Storm made it to the semi-final of the Concept (prop octagon) battle which was a huge accomplishment for her. Not long after this event Storm battled at Battle for Yorkshire (Leeds, Speak to the Streets) and Break Warriors Championship (Derby, Trinity Warriors). Storm always took a lesson away from these battles, whether that be to learn harder moves or simply just to have more fun when battling. Check out one of her rounds from Battle for Yorkshire.
