We are excited to announce that the next Bboy/Bgirl to receive the Tranquil Productions Breaker of the Month award is, Bboy Dexy. Dexy is a member of Clean North Crew and the leader of Concrete Roses. This Bboy is an inspiration for all the Breakers in Bradford.
Dexy is a Bboy who always hits the beats, whether he’s rockin it up top or down in his footwork. His style is described as being expressive, musical and dynamic. His creativity and style always shines through, especially when he’s feeling the music.
One of the brilliant things about Dexy is his leadership skills. He has been the main leader for Concrete Roses Crew since 2021. Throughout this time, the crew has been through ups and downs and gained new members along the way. However, the one thing that has been consistent the entire time, is Dexy’s loyalty and commitment to his crew. He always encourages his crew mates to push to their fullest and helps them if they are struggling. Dexy is truly becoming a great leader for Concrete Roses and we can’t wait to see where this year takes them.
One of the reasons he achieved BOTM is his determination and hard work. His level has increased significantly over the recent months but this wouldn’t have been possible without the effort he has put in. He is now using his style to his advantage, whether that be at events or creating new moves & techs. More recently, Dexy has created some impressive new techs by taking on board what he has learnt in his weekly sessions and the wisdom from the older generation of Clean North Crew.
Since the last Bradford Brawl, his breaking has improved massively and he has attended even more battles across England. Some of these places include: Derby (Break Warriors Championship- Trinity Warriors), Newcastle (Triple Threat- Battalions), Leeds (Battle for Yorkshire- Speak to the Street and HelloHipHop), Edinburgh (Break the Castle), Manchester (Fresh Skillz) and his hometown Bradford (Tech Styles 10). He has also battled within the Bradford community at: The Easter Jam 2026, & The End of Year Christmas Jam 2025. A massive feat was that Dexy won the Bonnie and Clyde battle at Tech Styles 10 with Bgirl Ammo, which saw Dexy battle the best he had ever battled before, as well as reaching the finals of the 16 and under categories at Break Warriors Championship 2026 & Break the Castle 2025.
