Bboy Willmatic | Breaker of the Month

It is time for the final Tranquil Productions Breaker of the Month and we are excited to announce that the eighth Bboy/Bgirl to receive this award is Bboy Willmatic. Bboy Willmatic is a member of West Side Breakers Crew, an inspiration for all the Bboys and Bgirls and a key part of the scene here in Bradford.

Bboy Willmatic’s style is described as being raw, powerful and complex. He is a well rounded breaker who is always pushing himself and others to the max. A few words that the Bradford breakers used to describe Willmatic were; funny, creative, helpful and energetic.

One of the great things about Will is that he is always representing strong, not just for himself but for his crew. Since the last Breaker of the Year Battles, Willmatic has kept pushing causing his level to skyrocket and it’s only going to keep rising. It is a big achievement to obtain the Breaker of the Month award 2 years in a row. This is because once you achieve it, your level needs to be at least double from the previous time, making it harder every time someone achieves it. He has shown this on multiple occasions including; Redbull UK Cypher and Break Warriors Championship. If you watch back his rounds from both these events you can see that he has persevered and raised the bar every time. Without a doubt Willmatic makes the most out of his training and all the battles he enters. When he is battling he never holds back and always performs to the best of his ability.

Willmatic is always willing to battle, whether that be in his home city or around the UK. In the Bradford Community he has attended: Tech Styles 10, The End of Year Christmas Jam 2025 and The Easter Jam 2026. Some of the battles Willmatic has attended across the UK are Derby (Break Warriors Championship- Trinity Warriors), London (Redbull), Newcastle (Triple Threat- Battalions), Edinburgh (Break the Castle) and Manchester (Fresh Skillz).

Over recent months he has not stopped training, at every training session and class he attends, he is always the last person to stop dancing, you can see he wants to be the best he can be. Willmatic trains over 4 times a week and attends a range of sessions that have contributed to his progression including survival breaks, his crew sessions, advanced classes and gymnastics. At these training sessions he is always creating new moves, obtaining new flips and improving on the moves he already has.

I’m really excited to have won Breaker of the Month and I can’t wait to battle at Bradford Brawl. I’m very grateful to represent my crew West Side Breakers as part of the Bradford breakin scene.

One of the reasons Bboy Willmatic has achieved this award is his passion and drive for not only his breakin journey but his crew too. Willmatic is always helping his crew members because this Bboy wants his crew to achieve big things. Whenever Will is given an opportunity, he always takes what he can from them and passes on any knowledge to his crew during their weekly sessions. Will has been a huge addition to his crew but in recent months, this goes beyond just the skills he brings. It’s his ideas and commitment to his crew that has been incredible to see. The bond between West Side Breakers has certainly grown in this past year and when your oldest member puts in that time and effort, it can only be encouraging to everybody else to do the same. He is always willing to participate in battles & events, whether it’s for a community jam or a big event as well as taking any opportunities that come his way. This Bboy never backs down from a challenge.
