On Saturday morning, Labyrinth, 1K, Airdy & Spider grabbed the coach to Derby to hit the “Future Flava Jam”. This saw kids from all across the UK come to compete in either the 1v1 under 12s, or the 1v1 under 16s. This was an eye opening event. The level and the energy was crazy! Bgirl Spider and Bboy Airdy tested themselves in the Under 16s category and Spider qualified to the Top 16, we were really proud of them both. These battles can be found soon via the Tranquil Productions YouTube under the “Clean North Represent” playlist. Shoutout to Bboy Paco (Trinity Warriors), the organiser of the Future Flava Jam, and winners Bboy Gustas (Under 12s), and Bboy McLane (Under 16s).

Meanwhile in Bradford, our 3rd Free Tech Styles workshop was underway with Tranquil & Fox. Once again, the turnout was great! These workshops are leading up to Tech Styles 4, Bradford’s premiere Breakin’ event. It is also there to help kids prepare for Bradford Brawl, which is taking place in just a few days! Thank you to all those who came out to the workshop on Saturday. It was another great turnout. We look forward to this every week because of you guys!

Battle time!

Bgirl in action!

After Fox & Tranquil finished the workshop they met the rest of the crew in Leeds at another event called Boom Bap And Breaks later on that day. It was great to see each other and catch up on the days earlier events. This particular event was a collaboration with Elevate Young Minds. They held a 1v1 Top Rock battle and a 1v1 Experimental battle. As expected with Boom Bap And Break events, the vibe was amazing. Big shout out to the organisers! It was great to get together at the end of the day to vibe and cypher together as a crew!

The next day the Clean North Crew performed at their home base, St. John’s Bowling for the congregation. The energy was amazing and positive and the audience were really responsive. Some of the crew didn’t get back to Bradford until the early hours of the morning after Boom Bap Breaks, so they were running on little sleep! But Lord willing, they did what they came to do . The support was unreal. BIG thank you to everybody who was there.
